Firewood is handy @ the entrance.
My family had a great time here. We drove almost 3 hours to camp for a weekend and it was well worth it. We can’t wait to come back. We stayed at Mills River at the beginning of summer and had a great time there as well. Thank you Cradle of Forestry for operating the BEST campgrounds we have ever been to.

We camped in spot 5 on the first loop in December. It was a little chilly, but we we're able to keep warm by doing lots of hikes. The waterfalls in the area were lovely. I would come back.
Unwelcoming staff!!! Less than pleased with the way they treated not only us but the others who checked in at the same time as my boyfriend and I. The showers were clean, but too cold to give them a try. Over priced for such mediocrity. Out of all the times I have been camping, this has been the worst experience. THE STAFF NEEDS TO BE MORE FRIENDLY!!!!!
